Meet Our Staff
Rev. Dr. Glenn Schaeffer, Pastor
Pastor Glenn Schaeffer has been the pastor of St. James since March 2019. He is married to Sandra for 40 years and is father to four children, plus a son-in-law, and is “papa” to two! If you listen to him speak, you will soon pick up his Canadian accent. Please don’t hold this against him, but he is a Raptors, Maple Leafs, and Blue Jay fan. He loves to travel and teach internationally – having taught in Nicaragua, Thailand, Cameroon, and Rwanda – and having led tours to Israel, Jordan, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, and Austria.
Ashley Beffrey, Secretary
Words cannot describe how happy and excited I am to be serving St. James as secretary. A little background on myself and my family, I am the wife of Rev. Ryan Beffrey serving at Epiphany Lutheran church in Dorr, MI. I am also a mother to two beautiful children Lydia (9) and Simeon (7). All three of them keep me moving.
