V.B.S. MUSIC CAMP IS JULY 12-15TH! You can help out now by distributing our VBS Gospel fliers! We also need teachers, helpers, kitchen workers, game leaders, and registration workers! See Beth McKay if you can help out! Oh yes, there’s always the need for cookies and Kool-Aid too!
The first meeting of the newly established Fund Raising Committee will be meeting Tuesday evening, June 29th, at 6:30 p.m.
There will be a VBS staff meeting this Tuesday, June 29th, at 10:00 a.m. Can’t make it? See Beth.
A few co-teachers are needed for the Sunday School program in the Fall. We have openings in the lower grades. Please contact Cindy M. as soon as possible before all the positions are filled.
A few St. James ladies will be attending the LWML Mi. District Convention in mid-July and would like to take the suggested “Gift of Love” offering with them, but need YOUR help! New SOCKS of all kinds, colors, and gender can be put in the designated box on the Gathering room shelves through July 4th.
We will be meeting this coming Tuesday, June 15th, at 8:30 a.m. The topic will be “Anna and Simeon.” All men are welcome to join the sixty minute session. You will benefit both from the social interaction as well as the Bible Study. Join us! Duane S. will bring the donuts.
Volunteers are needed for our July 12-15 Music Camp. If you can teach, aide, serve juice & cookies, make crafts, donate cookies, do registration, help with outdoor recreation, please speak with Beth McKay. Thank you!
There will be a brief meeting Sunday, June 13th, immediately following the church service in the classroom by the office to appoint a new treasurer.
Circle July 14th on your calendars. This is the date our Church sponsors the local Blood Drive. The available times to donate are from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sign up sheets will be in the Gathering Room.
