WOMEN ARE WELCOME to join together for lunch at the Cheers Restaurant at 3994 Plainfield NE immediately after church Sunday.  A carpool will be formed by the church’s east double entry doors.  LWML sponsors this event but all women are invited for lunch and a devotion by Arlene S.

LWML will have their first meeting of the Fall season Sunday, September 11, 2011.

Norma Carey leads the Bible study in the gathering room at 6 p.m. Ingathering: items to fill a Personal Care Kit for World Relief (if you haven’t already done so). Bring your mite box as we serve the Lord with gladness!

Elaine Bickel will be the keynote speaker for the LWML- sponsored Women’s Winter Retreat, “Faith in the Midst of the Jungle” held on Sat., Feb. 26th from 9:30-1:30 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Kentwood.  Please RSVP to Doris at #575-9121 or momfrobel@yahoo.com by Tues., Feb. 22nd.  The cost is $10 and includes a lunch and the ingathering donation is a new set of bath, hand and washcloth towels with a Bible verse or tract in a zip lock bag.  Come for renewal and laughter to chase away those mid-winter blues!
